Welcome to GM: Fallout Maps (the “Application”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Application. By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We DO NOT Collect Directly
We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, address, phone number, or email address unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, by contacting us).
2. Information Managed and How It Is Used
Application Data (Local Storage)
The Application stores essential information only on your device to function properly, including:
Your markers (completed and custom)
Notes attached to markers
Visible categories and applied filters
Preferences (language, theme, interface settings)
Ad removal status (if applicable)
These data are not transmitted to or collected by our servers.
Cloud Sync with Google Drive (Optional)
If you choose to use the cloud synchronization feature, you may sign in with your Google account to back up and restore:
Markers
Notes
Map progress
Custom markers
Visible categories and filters
Important details:
We do not store your Google credentials.
Authentication is securely handled by Google.
Synced data are encrypted before upload.
Use of Google Drive is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix technical issues. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may collect anonymous or pseudonymized technical data, such as:
Device type and operating system version
Application version
Crash details (stack traces, error logs)
This information does not personally identify you.

Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version of the Application may display ads provided by Google AdMob.
We do not show personalized ads.
AdMob may collect technical data, advertising identifiers (if not disabled on your device), and approximate regional information to display ads.
Users with the Premium version or with ads removed will not see advertisements.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
We offer a Premium version and optional in-app purchases.
We do not collect or store your payment information.
All payments are securely processed by Google Play.

The Application uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Google Drive – Data synchronization
Firebase Crashlytics – Crash reporting
Google AdMob – Advertising (free version)
Google Play Billing – In-app purchases

4. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the data managed by the Application, including encrypting data synced with Google Drive.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention
Data stored locally remain on your device until deleted or until the Application is uninstalled.
Data synced to Google Drive remain in your Google account until you delete them there.
Crashlytics data are retained according to Firebase’s retention policies.
6. Children’s Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
