Introduction

Welcome to GM: Arc Riders Map (the “Application”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Application. By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We DO NOT Collect Directly

We do not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, address, phone number, or email, unless you voluntary provide it (for example, if you contact us).

2. Information Managed and How It Is Used

App Data (Local Storage)

The Application stores essential information only on your device to ensure its functionality, including:

  • Your markers (completed and custom)

  • Notes attached to markers

  • Visible categories and active filters

  • User preferences (language, theme, interface settings)

  • Ad removal status (if applicable)

These data remain on your device and are never transmitted to our servers.

Cloud Sync with Google Drive (Optional)

If you choose to use the cloud sync feature, you may sign in with your Google account to back up and restore:

  • Markers

  • Notes

  • Map progress

  • Custom markers

  • Visible categories and filters

Important details:

  • We do not store your Google credentials.

  • Authentication is securely handled by Google.

  • Synced data are encrypted prior to upload.

  • Google Drive usage is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify and fix technical issues. When a crash occurs, Crashlytics may collect anonymous or pseudonymized technical data such as:

  • Device model and OS version

  • App version

  • Crash details (stack traces, error logs)

This data does not personally identify you.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the Application may display ads through Google AdMob.

  • We do not show personalized ads.

  • AdMob may collect technical data, non-personal identifiers, and approximate region information to serve ads.

Users with Premium access or with ads removed will not see advertisements.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

We offer a Premium version and optional in-app purchases.

  • We do not collect or store payment information.

  • All purchases are securely processed by Google Play.

  • Transactions follow the Google Play Privacy Policy.

3. Third-Party Services Used

The Application uses the following services, each governed by its respective privacy policy:

  • Google Drive – Data synchronization

  • Firebase Crashlytics – Crash reporting

  • Google AdMob – Advertisements (free version)

  • Google Play Billing – Payments and purchases

We recommend reviewing their privacy policies for additional details.

4. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the data managed by the Application, including encrypting all data synced to Google Drive.
However, no method of data storage or transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

  • Data stored locally remain on your device until deleted or until the Application is uninstalled.

  • Data synced to Google Drive remain in your Google account until you delete them there.

  • Crashlytics data are retained according to Firebase’s retention policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

This Application is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us immediately.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be posted within the Application or on this page.
