Welcome to GM: Escape from Duckov Map (the “Application”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Application. By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We DO NOT Collect Directly

We do not directly collect personally identifiable information such as your name, address, or phone number unless you voluntarily provide it (for example, if you contact us by email).

Information Managed and How It Is Used

App Data (Local Storage)

The Application stores essential information only on your device for its functionality, including:

  • Your markers (completed and custom)

  • Notes attached to markers

  • Visible categories and applied filters

  • Preferences (language, theme, interface settings)

  • Ad removal status (if applicable)

These data remain on your device and are not collected or transmitted to our servers.

Cloud Sync with Google Drive (Optional Feature)

If you choose to use the cloud sync feature, you can sign in with your Google account to back up and restore your data (markers, notes, progress, custom markers, and visible categories) in your own Google Drive account.

  • We do not store your Google credentials.

  • Authentication is securely handled by Google.

  • Synced data are encrypted before upload.

  • The use of Google Drive is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

Crash Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Firebase Crashlytics to help identify and fix application errors. Crashlytics may collect anonymous or pseudonymized technical data when a crash occurs, such as:

  • Device type and operating system version

  • App version

  • Crash details (stack traces, error logs)

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the Application may display ads provided by Google AdMob.

  • We do not display personalized ads.

  • AdMob may collect technical data and advertising identifiers (if not disabled on your device) and general regional information to serve ads.

  • For more details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

  • Users with the Premium version or with ads removed will not see advertisements.

In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)

We offer a Premium version or other in-app purchases via Google Play Billing.

  • We do not collect or store your payment information.

  • Payments are securely processed by Google.

  • Purchases are subject to the Google Play Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Drive (for data synchronization)

  • Firebase Crashlytics (for crash reports)

  • Google AdMob (for ads in the free version)

  • Google Play Billing (for in-app purchases)

We recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the data we manage, including encrypting data synced with Google Drive. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention

  • Data stored locally remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the Application.

  • Data synced to Google Drive remain in your Google account until you delete them there.

  • Crashlytics data are retained according to Firebase’s retention policies.

Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page or within the Application. You are advised to review this policy periodically for updates.
